When Matt Garvey leads out Bath Rugby at The Clash on Saturday the team will be wearing a special limited-edition jersey.
The shirts have been designed in partnership with Bath Rugby Foundation and feature images of the Foundation’s extraordinary Clash XV.
All fifteen have been selected to appear on the shirt after taking part in a range of the Foundation’s programmes in and round Bath.
Only a handful have been made by Canterbury of New Zealand and there have already been questions from Bath Rugby fans who want to know how they can get their hands on a shirt.
They have been created to help raise funds for Bath Rugby Foundation, which works to is to empower vulnerable children and young people in Bath and surrounding areas to succeed through programmes which focus on four areas: health, education, employability and inclusion.
Ahead of the big match on Saturday, which sees Bath Rugby face old foes Leicester Tigers at the home of English Rugby, fans will get the chance to win one of five squad-signed shirts on offer in our stadium raffle.
Our volunteers will be selling tickets all around the stadium, including the Bath Rugby Foundation gazebo in the West Fan Village. Tickets are just £1.
For those who do not make it to Twickenham on Saturday there will still be a chance to get hold of one of the special shirts, again signed by the squad.
Our good friends at Loakes will be holding a raffle at their Green Street store and a shirt raffle will be held at the Bath Rugby Club Shop in Argyle Street. Tickets will be £1.
All proceeds from the raffles will go directly to Bath Rugby Foundation.
In the near future there will also be the chance to boost the Foundation’s fundraising efforts by bidding on signed shirts on online auction site Ebay.
