Bath Rugby Foundation are pleased to announce we are seeking outstanding and dedicated individuals to join our team as casual coaches.
The Foundation runs a range of programmes to empower young people to create a better future for themselves and are looking for coaches across all programmes.
the Foundation Casual Coach is responsible for delivering across agreed Foundation programmes in school and community settings throughout Bath and the surrounding areas.
We are currently on the lookout for coaches to assist for a minimum of six weeks with our Project Rugby programme and Doorstep Clubs.
While Doorstep Clubs are multisport and Project Rugby is rugby focussed, both programmes are about trying to engage young people from challenging backgrounds so we are seeking outstanding candidates.
The sessions take place during the day time and evenings.
The Foundation Casual Coach will be competent in delivering rugby (tag, touch and contact) and multisport sessions in a variety of settings. They will have an interest in developing their coaching skills and knowledge to use sport to develop physical, personal and social skills and deliver education and health messages.
The successful candidate will have England Rugby Coaching Award or equivalent NGB Level ½ and will have experience of with planning, delivering and reviewing multi-sport or rugby coaching sessions in community, school or youth club settings
They will have experience of the delivery of tag rugby sessions in primary schools and will have excellent communication including a range of delivery styles that can cater to different needs within a group.
